Rose Snyder is a certified performance, leadership and organizational culture coach who has worked in the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic world for over 30 years. In addition to coaching athletes to achieve at the highest levels, she has led discussions with Olympic coaches, athletes, and administrators on what makes high performing teams and individuals achieve.
Rose has taken these concepts into her business coaching practice, helping businesses and individual clients set goals and turn their challenges into successes. Rose received her coach certification through The Institute for Integrative Intelligence, the Maslow Research Center and is a Certified Professional Integrative Coach (CPIC), a certified Organizational Culture Coach (OCC) and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation. Rose has worked with large global corporations in the areas of team building, on-boarding, strategic planning and improving workplace culture. She leads her own women's leadership program, Your Leadership Journey, and has helped hundreds of women find their voice, improve their leadership skills and lead authetically.
Rose Snyder is also a leading expert in nonprofit best practices for organizations at the local, regional and national levels. Her unique experience from working within the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement and her management knowledge allows her to “coach” boards and staff for high performance and achievement. Rose also helps local nonprofits in her part-time role as the Learning and Development Manager at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona's Center for Healthy Nonprofits.
Rose is also a gifted presenter and facilitator and has served as a speaker for numerous events both locally and nationally. She has been a popular featured speaker at the annual YWCA's Women's Leadership Conference, a keynote speaker for ARSARCO, and has been a Storyteller at the University of Arizona WOSAC Fiesta event.
Rose has authored national education programs centered on leadership, management, planning, communication and conflict resolution designed to help nonprofits – large or small – lead their organization strategically with the mission in mind.
Rose has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management, a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education and has studied extensively with BoardSource where she received her Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting. She is also a licensed trainer in MBTI® , Psycho-Geometrics® “Shapes” and True Colors. Rose uses these tools in all her team building programs to help individuals improve their work, personal relationships and team performance.
Rose is very involved in the Tucson community. She served as the community member on the Academy Review Board for the Women and Gender Studies department at the University Arizona. She serves as the Vice President for the University of Arizona Women Studies Advocacy Council. She sits on the board of the business nonprofit, The Mighty Underdogs. She served as the Vice President of Operations for the International Coaching Federation, Arizona Chapter and helps organize and facilitate their annual coaches summit. She is also a past Vice President for Junior Achievement of Southern Arizona.
Rose has experienced sports from all angles as a successful athlete, coach, local and national administrator, parent, consultant, and now, performance coach. She can guide you to overcome what’s holding you back so you can reach your goals and fulfill your dreams.
Rose literally walks her talk. She set out to improve her business and health and continues to walk about four miles a day on the beautiful Tucson Loop.
Rose is married to Charlie Snyder, they have three great kids (Carli, Gina, and Sam), and love living in beautiful Tucson, AZ.
